We support storytellers who bet on themselves.
Receive up to $5,000 prize to use how you choose!
Finishing funds, festival submission fees, cast and crew reimbursements, production, or anything else you think of.

RULES & Eligibility
All contestants must meet the following criteria:
A storyteller with an authentic perspective who pursues their own creative voice and vision.
The entrant must be 18 years or older.
Submit an application that includes:
Contact information
Provide a synopsis of your story
Briefly describe how you will be using the grant
Briefly describe your connection to Florida, if any
Submit any extra materials you may have, such as a viewing link or PDFs
Pay an application fee
$25 for 100 Voices of Florida
$35 for 100 Voices (everywhere)
We understand storytellers come from various backgrounds, levels of expertise, and genres.
Judges will look for storyteller’s who are committed to three tenets:
Pursue their own creative voice
Invoke emotional responses from the readers (fear, laughter, sadness, angst, etc.)
Value the importance of pacing to keep readers engaged
Things to keep in mind:
We do not retain any rights to the stories
Creative teams can submit, but only the one entrant will receive the grant
Judges are not made aware of the entrant’s name
The selected winner may be asked to show proof to ensure they meet the following criteria

At this time, yes, but it must be separate applications.

One of the things we love about growing up in Florida is its cultural mix! So yes, you can submit stories in another language but please make sure the application is in English.
