Zejneba Hardaga never cowered in the face of injustice, even within her strict Muslim community. When Zejneba Hardaga realizes her best friend Rifka (a Sarajevo Jew) is being rounded up by Nazis, she risks everything to save them. Fifty years later, during the Bosnian War, when the Muslims are being hunted, Rifka must find a way to rescue Zejneba in turn.
